Companies like Dell, Wal-Mart, and Ford Motor Co. have jumped in feet first. Then, there are those who still think social media is a waste of time and cannot add to their profit margins in any significant way.
Both are right to a degree.
Conversely, in the mobile sector, no one argues the ubiquity of the cell phone and the explosion of the smartphone; the iPhone/app phenomena and the potential for mobile to become “everyone’s connection to anyone” in voice, data, and video has also arrived. Our consumption, travel, health and social connections will be manintained and managed on a small device capable of multiple tasks all at the same time.
